While part of the story of Left Behind takes place during the main narrative arc of The Last of Us, I think some of the best and most touching moments of any game in recent memory occur during the prequel segments, as we follow Ellie and Riley as they sneak out of boarding school to visit an abandoned mall, getting one final chance to enjoy their friendship before Riley leaves to join the Fireflies. If you haven’t had a chance yet to check out The Last of Us, this is a nicely priced gateway to checking out the world and characters so many people (and critics) loved. We will be dropping the price of the Left Behind Add-on on PS3 to the same price on that day as well. The Last of Us: Left Behind standalone will be available on both PS3 and PS4 from 12th May for only €9.99/£7.99. Especially when it is so true to the video game that you all claim to adore so much. The team here at Naughty Dog is excited that Left Behind, the critically acclaimed and award-winning single-player chapter to The Last of Us, will be available as a standalone download via the PlayStation Store. I don't understand how anyone can be so riled up by such a true representation of teenage romance. The game itself takes a humble pride in it's pace and story telling. And the negative reviews for a lack of action? Go back and play the game and time how much of the game is 'action'. This series continues to balance the nuanced emotional moments with the wrought with danger action sequences perfectly. Do any of these trolls actually believe that all this time, money and production value has gone into something so we can slip an LGBT story line under your noses? This isn't a wink wink gotcha moment that the queer community are celebrating as they get one over on the haters. It's innocent, it is coming of age, it is entirely appropriate and essential to the story.

Woke? Propaganda? Are you aware of what either of those words mean let alone when used together? This is an authentic telling of a teenage romance in a horrendous post apocalyptic world.

Nowhere to conceal their homophobia and so the stock usage of 'woke propaganda' is being used. So many people who claimed not to be homophobic and review bombed the episode because of the changes made to the narrative. It's interesting to read these reviews after reading the reviews of episode 3. Particular shout out to the real world locations and references. Almost beat for beat how events folded out in the game but in a much more relatable and real world way.
